ABOUT JFO

Journey Farthest Out is part of an ecumenical Christian movement begun in 1930 through the vision of Dr. Glenn Clark. It is a time set apart for spiritual growth as we open our lives to God physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in a setting of unconditional love.

A non-denominational Christian camp that welcomes all ages for

spiritual growth in an atmosphere of unconditional love and acceptance.

Pacific Redwoods JFO

Pacific Redwoods Family Camp is designed for all ages from infants to our elders.  No matter the age, the camp program is designed to help us train as "Athletes of the Spirit" and open our lives to God through the balance of mind, body and spirit.

Pacific Redwoods Family Camp is an adventure in creative, joyous Christian living where we experience oneness with each other, the joy of union with God, the love of Jesus, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Come experience God's love, grow in the power of prayer, find inner peace, and awaken to a new joy in love. Find this all in a settling of truly unconditional love while nestled among the majestic coastal redwoods.

The JFO Family
Pacific Redwoods JFO is one of four camps in the JFO family. Visit the Journey Farthest Out Website for more information on all the JFO camps.

Each camp has its own feeling and campground setting. Lassen Camp is held in a remote and gorgeous Northern California mountain region near Mt. Lassen, Pacific Redwoods Camp is nestled in a coastal redwood forest in Aptos, CA, Winni Camp gathers lakeside at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, and the Autumn Camp meetings on the edge of Lake Tahoe in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. The first camp in the year is Mt. Lassen JFO in June, next is the summer at Pacific Redwoods JFO and Winni JFO camp in July, and rounding out our camp year is Autumn JFO coming together at the end of September. Four amazing camps to lift your Spirit, strengthen your Body and stimulate your Mind.

Our Founder's Vision

Glenn Clark’s vision was to create a camp where we can find balance physically, mentally, and spiritually. His intention was for us to steep ourselves in prayer so deeply that it becomes integrated into our very bodies and manifested in all we say and do. Prayer laboratories are the foundation of our camp where we explore our inner spirituality and find ways to go farther out in our relationship with God.

Each camp is a creation of that purpose, to live our lives in prayer and manifestation of peace. It is a time apart to strengthen and develop within our own Spiritual lives.

The vision that JFO campers share is to create a safe place in which all people, regardless of creed, are invited to come and experience unconditional love as taught and lived by Jesus Christ and other spiritual leaders.  There are rich opportunities to grow and learn, as well as time for sharing with fellow travelers on their spiritual paths. We look forward to the experience that each camper brings, and we know the whole of the camp is greater than the parts alone.
